Helping our youth build a foundation for lasting wealth

The EYE Financial Literacy Program is a five-year commitment that gives students the practical skills they need for budgeting, investing, and wealth building. We are here to make sure the next generation has the tools and confidence to take full control of their financial future.

A Five-Year Plan for Real Wealth

Building a foundation from 8th grade through graduation.

The Empowering Youth Economics (EYE) program is more than just a class. It is a five-year commitment to Black youth across Colorado. We start working with students in the 8th grade and stay with them through high school graduation to ensure they truly understand how to budget, save, and invest for the long term. Our goal is to make sure every graduate has the confidence and business sense to secure their own future and help their community thrive.

Guidance from People Who Have Been There

Real mentorship that goes beyond the classroom.

We live by the idea that when one of us succeeds, we all succeed. Through the EYE program, we pair students with experienced professionals and entrepreneurs who have already walked the path. These are real relationships where mentors share practical career advice and leadership lessons. By connecting our youth with established leaders in the community, we give them a clear roadmap for what is possible and the confidence to lead.

The Tools to Succeed

Making sure technology is never a barrier.

No student should fall behind just because they do not have a computer or a reliable internet connection. As part of our 2028 Project, we provide participants with free laptops, technology stipends, and the support they need to stay connected. By taking these costs off their plates, we allow our students to focus entirely on their growth. We are helping them move away from financial uncertainty toward a legacy of success that will last for generations.

Preparing Tomorrow’s Leaders to Take Charge

The EYE Financial Literacy Program

We are here to help Black youth in Colorado break through barriers by teaching them how to manage money, start businesses, and build real wealth. Our goal is to work with students from junior high through high school, giving them the tools they need to become financially independent leaders in their own communities.

A Long-Term Commitment
We stick with our students from 8th grade all the way through high school graduation. This isn’t just a quick workshop; it is years of steady support to make sure good financial habits actually stick for life.
Real Wealth Building
We go way beyond the basics. Our students learn how to budget, save, and invest so they can change the way they think about money and start building a solid foundation for their future.
Mentors Who Care
We connect students with successful professionals and entrepreneurs who have been in their shoes. It is all about the each one teach one approach, sharing real-world experience that you just cannot get from a textbook.
The Tools to Succeed
We provide the practical things students need to get ahead, including laptops, technology stipends, and help planning for college. We want to make sure nothing stands in the way of their academic or professional goals.
Learning That Fits
Whether it is in person or online, we make sure our program is easy to join. We offer both virtual and face-to-face sessions so students across the Denver Metro area can participate without a problem.
Closing the Gap
We focus on giving young people the knowledge they need to master today’s economy. By teaching these skills early, we are helping to close the wealth gap and create a more level playing field for everyone.
