The 2028 Project: Advancing Black Economic Empowerment
The 2028 Project is a strategic initiative led by B.E.S.T. to empower Colorado’s Black community by convening resources, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful solutions. This project brings together government entities, resource providers, and community stakeholders to align priorities and ensure accountability in advancing economic empowerment for Black-led nonprofits, Black-owned businesses, Black professionals, and youth.
Through this initiative, B.E.S.T. aims to create a comprehensive strategic plan centered on four key pillars:
- Nonprofit/ Small Business Growth – Strengthening and scaling Black-owned businesses.
- Leadership Development – Cultivating strong leaders within Colorado’s Black community.
- Youth Economic Empowerment – Building pathways for future success among Black youth.
The 2028 Project serves as a roadmap for sustainable economic growth and community impact, starting with Colorado’s Black community. It embodies B.E.S.T.’s commitment to innovation, equity, and collaboration, with a vision to expand its impact in the years ahead.
